Dixie Belle Gator Hide is a water-based, water-repellent clear topcoat for painted furniture, cabinets, tabletops, bathroom vanities, outdoor furniture, and other high-use surfaces. Choose your sheen and size from the menus.
Eggshell has a soft, low-luster finish. Satin offers a smooth, more noticeable soft sheen. Both are available in 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz, and gallon sizes.
How to use: Let paint fully dry. Stir well before and during use; do not shake. Apply smooth, even coats along the wood grain with a synthetic brush, sponge, applicator pad, or smooth roller. Maintain a wet edge and avoid overworking. Allow about 2 hours between coats; lightly sand and remove dust if desired. Apply three coats for a water-repellent finish. Cure time is approximately 21–30 days. Drying varies with conditions; follow the manufacturer’s directions.
