Our Story & Experience

More than a craft store.

Heather and Mike spent more than 18 years traveling the country working in commercial construction. Together, their work included more than 600 Buffalo Wild Wings locations as well as projects for Starbucks, Popeyes, McDonald’s, Zoës Kitchen and other commercial brands.

That experience is part of Canterbury Creative today. We understand prep, repair, finishes, materials, tools and the difference between making something look good and making it last.

Our family is changing gears so we can stay closer to home and care for our 13-year-old daughter, Sophia. Canterbury Creative and Ask Mike allow us to keep using the skills we built over decades while putting family first.
