Burlap | Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral Paint

Burlap Chalk Mineral Paint is a medium-toned neutral tan color that adds a touch of neatness and casual elegance to your home decor.

Project idea: Its natural beige makes an easy foundation for a layered neutral dresser or a piece with visible wood accents.

Prep and application: Clean the surface thoroughly and rinse away cleaner residue. Shake and stir the paint, then apply with a lightly dampened synthetic brush. Let each coat dry before adding another; two coats are a useful starting point, though coverage depends on the starting color and surface. For slick surfaces or possible stain bleed-through, use the appropriate Dixie Belle primer first.

Finish: Soft flat/matte. Distress after drying if desired. A suitable clear topcoat can add protection on frequently handled pieces. Dixie Belle lists approximately 15 minutes of dry time under typical conditions and 21–30 days for full cure.
