What it does

A blend of hemp oil, coconut oil, and three waxes helps condition dry wood, bring out the grain, and leave a soft, renewed finish. Furniture Salve can also seal Chalk Synthesis Paint and refresh suitable leather and metal surfaces. It is a conditioning finish rather than a paint or hard clear-coat finish.

How to apply

1. Remove surface dust and test a small, hidden area first to check the appearance and compatibility.
2. Use a dedicated salve brush, such as Wise Owl's 2-inch Palm Brush, to spread a small amount evenly.
3. Let it sit briefly, then buff away all excess with a clean, lint-free cloth. A thin application is easier to buff than a heavy layer.
4. Keep your salve brush separate from brushes used for water-based paint and clear finishes.

Finishing tips

Allow approximately 30 days for full cure when used as a finishing treatment. Test over light paint and delicate surfaces before treating the whole piece. Do not use it as a wax topcoat over One Hour Enamel. Use the included Palm Brush for an even application, then wipe away excess with your own lint-free cloth.
